Lisa is great! We are a military family who moved to Woodbridge in 2019. We are only looking to rent and the first person we met with didn't want to be bothered. Lisa helped us immediately and we had a place found within 24hrs. She kept in contact with us over the years, and we sent her several military friends whom she helped find homes. This year she sat down and listened to all our wants and needs and helped us find our permanent family home!! She was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. She gave honest feed back and was receptive when we gave ours. It's been a few months since we moved and she still checks on us and gives us suggestions on companies to call when problems arise! Lisa Joy is a pure gem! Lisa guided me through the purchase of a newly-constructed condo which took over a year from initial signing of contract in July 2022 through settlement September 2023. Working with the building rep, Lisa followed up and kept abreast of construct delays. She also reviewed fees and costs to insure they were as they should be. Lisa Joy is a diamond in the rough. She is very professional, and very straightforward. From day one, she gave us a timeline of what would/should happen in our journey of selling our home. Where do I start... Briefly: Lisa has been the BEST realtor I could have ever worked with. If you are on the fence about realtors, PLEASE hire Lisa! She is always on your side. If I could give her more stars, I would. She is a great person, a dedicated realtor, and will find you your home!

Longer version: I started looking for a house in August of 2021... I am a first time home buyer, so I did my obligatory "how to buy a house" googling. Google said to interview three realtors, so I reached out to Lisa Joy and two other realtors. Immediately after speaking with Lisa, I knew she was the right person. I was experiencing a ton of anxiety and stress about starting the home buying process and expressed this to Lisa on our first phone call. I also told her that i was interviewing other Realtors. Lisa went out of her way to send me a walk-through of the home buying process. Basically a check list. She sent me mortgage companies, let me know what the market was like, let me know how the process was going to work. I hadn't even hired her yet ... AND she was on vacation! Of course, I told Lisa that she was the one. At no fault of Lisa, it took me SEVEN months to find a house. We put in SEVEN offers together. We looked at 100 houses together. I spent more time with Lisa than I did at my home, i swear! The whole process was nerve-wracking, exhausting and frustrating... But Lisa kept me sane. She was a joy to be around (hah) and kept my spirits up throughout the whole process. There were some houses where she had me laughing through the whole showing! When I expressed my worry over the frustrating process, she told me that the perfect house is coming to me, we just needed patience. She was so accommodating and friendly. She even answered my text on Superbowl Sunday and put an offer in for me! Every offer, Lisa went through every single piece of paper and explained everything to me. When I expressed worry about a house's pipes, Lisa (of her own accord), scheduled a plumber to come and look at them. She answered my panic-texts with calmness and grace! In the end, I found the PERFECT home. In the right location, at the right price. I was lucky to lock down the house and even luckier to get to work with Lisa. If you are a first time home buyer and you are on the fence about which realtor to pick, Lisa is the one to go with. After hanging out with Lisa for eight months, I am sad that it's coming to an end (but happy that I don't have to look at anymore houses!). I will be recommending Lisa to EVERYONE I can.
